GeoGrid (CEO Kim Ki-hyun), which developed “BLOS (Building Oasis),” a building water purification system equipped with smart water quality management functions, announced on the 12th that it has been selected for Samsung Electronics’ startup incubation program “C-Lab Outside.”

C-Lab Outside is a program that supports startups with innovative ideas and technologies so that they can focus on their business. It provides office space, business support funds, participation in domestic and overseas IT exhibitions, and opportunities for business collaboration with Samsung Electronics.

The BLOS system developed by GeoGrid is a water quality management system that keeps the inside of building pipes clean using ionization and AI technology, without the need to replace existing water pipes. It features real-time water quality monitoring and AI analysis that can detect water quality abnormalities in advance. The system also contributes to reducing carbon emissions and conserving resources by decreasing the use of plastic bottled water and purifiers. The company stated that it provides a sustainable water quality management solution that helps realize ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.

With its selection for C-Lab, GeoGrid plans to accelerate technology development and global network expansion.
In particular, the company aims to collaborate with Samsung Electronics to expand BLOS into smart building and smart city solutions, strengthening its position as a sustainable technology. It also plans to showcase its ESG-focused technology at domestic and international exhibitions and seek collaboration opportunities.

GeoGrid has already begun its global expansion by unveiling BLOS in January at CES 2025 Eureka Park.
A GeoGrid representative said, “A representative from a European hotel chain evaluated BLOS as a sustainable solution that reduces the use of harmful chemicals such as PFAS and helps lower carbon emissions,” adding, “We aim to provide an attractive solution for companies pursuing ESG management through the fusion of eco-friendly water management and real-time monitoring technology.”

CEO Kim Ki-hyun stated, “We will continue to supply sustainable water management technology to the global market and strengthen cooperation with companies and institutions practicing ESG management.”

Meanwhile, GeoGrid plans to relocate its research lab to Samsung Electronics’ Seoul R&D Campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul, in March.
