GeoGrid Supports Safer Drinking Water at Onam Elementary School with a Real-Time Tap Water Monitoring System

GeoGrid built a real-time tap water monitoring system at Onam Elementary School in Namyangju to strengthen the school’s drinking water safety environment. Funded by the Guri–Namyangju Office of Education, the system automatically monitors key water quality indicators 24/7—including turbidity, residual chlorine, water temperature, and pH—and sends immediate alerts when abnormalities are detected.

A long-standing issue with rust-colored water has also been improved through the introduction of purification equipment, helping create a safer environment where students can use tap water with confidence. A school representative stated, “Being able to check water quality conditions in real time is a great help for meal service and hygiene management,” adding that GeoGrid’s technology is contributing to establishing a safer drinking water culture.
