GeoGrid, a water-tech startup that has developed a smart building-scale purification solution, announced that it has received an investment from MYSC (Merry Year Social Company). The investment amount was not disclosed.

GeoGrid is recognized for successfully commercializing building-level water purification systems, possessing technology that not only solves corrosion and rust issues in aging pipes but also improves water quality to potable standards.
This proprietary technology, named BLOS (Building Oasis), enables the supply of drinking-level water throughout an entire building.

The BLOS solution is characterized by its ability to remove bacteria, rust, and scale without replacing old pipes, significantly reducing the need for bottled water or individual purifiers.
As a result, it contributes to carbon reduction and energy efficiency while providing real-time water quality data that allows for continuous monitoring and management of both water and pipeline conditions.

Building on these strengths, GeoGrid plans to expand the application of its BLOS solution beyond apartments and schools to include hotels, parks, and other public infrastructures.

In November, GeoGrid achieved its first overseas expansion by exporting its solution to PT Dongbang Development in Indonesia.
The company announced plans to use this as a stepping stone to actively enter the Indonesian and broader Southeast Asian markets.

A representative from MYSC stated,

“Amid the growing global emphasis on sustainable water resource management driven by climate change, we expect GeoGrid’s unique solution addressing building pipeline and water quality management to gain strong market traction.”

GeoGrid CEO Kim Ki-hyun added,

“This investment comes at a meaningful time as we strengthen market trust and scale globally.
With MYSC’s support, GeoGrid will accelerate its international expansion and contribute to solving global water quality challenges.”
